Scarves Tied in Spring 2010 RTW

Well I was going to title this post "Scarves are Back!". Looks like they never left. Silk, gauzy and flowy scarves were a staple last year. This season, designers decided to maintain this versatile trend.

Long Scarves HOT for 2009 - 2010

Long scarves are back with a vengence Fall / Winter 2009 - 2010.

Tie a fashion scarf, and you can draw instant attention yourself. Want to update your outfit? Just add a scarf around the neck, a shawl folded thinly and worn around the waist, or a wrap around the shoulders.

Tina A Jane states "Scarves no longer serve as items protecting us from cold or wind, they have become versatile and fashionable accessories"

A great way to take advantage of this stylish trend, is with my Ebony Leaf Silk Shawl. Wear it over one shoulder, work it through your belt loops of your pants tie it, and let it hang off the side. For a more subtle effect, it is available in a neckerchief size.

Magenta Line Silk Jacquard Scarf / Shawl
Magenta Line Silk Jacquard Scarf / Shawl by DeeBozzz Silk Scarves and Access

This fashion silk scarf is painted for my Fall 2009 collection, however you can definitely wear it now. I love accessories that are transitional. This jacquard scarf, comes in two sizes: 12"x60" oblong and an 18"x72" shawl.

Above I have created a visualization as to how you can rock this scarf. We have dark denim, purple shoes, and added a punch of yellow that merge summer into Fall.

Scarves and Shawls are the perfect way to achieve milage from your wardrobe.

Scarves, Scarves Everywhere! SPRING 2009

Well as you know by now, I am always surfing the online fashion sites, and reading the style mags to see where scarves fall in the trend mix.

I came across Coutorture. According to them, for Spring 2009, we are all "wound-up in scarves". Like me, they feel that scarves can present themselves as an affordable way to make your look feel new.
