Scarves Tied in Spring 2010 RTW

Well I was going to title this post "Scarves are Back!". Looks like they never left. Silk, gauzy and flowy scarves were a staple last year. This season, designers decided to maintain this versatile trend.

This geometric square design is hand painted on a silk jacquard. I love the way the woven pattern gives my painted design an added punch. The colours available are lime and rust.

1-2-3- Check!

I am in love with these two 15"x60" silk oblong scarves! I have incorporated the statement colours Tomato Red in one, and Turquoise in other. These pieces have bright contrasting colours that will allow you to stand out in the summer, and add some pop to your wardrobe in the fall. Definitely versatile pieces.

Long scarves are back with a vengence Fall / Winter 2009 - 2010.

Tie a fashion scarf, and you can draw instant attention yourself. Want to update your outfit? Just add a scarf around the neck, a shawl folded thinly and worn around the waist, or a wrap around the shoulders.

How to Wear the Olive Swirl Scarf

This is a little demo, on how to wear my hand painted Olive Silk Wrap. It is 22"x72" in size. It is also available in the 8"x54" Silk Neckerchief. This is one of my best sellers.

I am demonstrating it with a black strapless top (dressy). I am wearing denim jeans too. This way, you can envision how to go from casual to evening. This particular size silk wrap is very versatile.

A Little R n R in Ottawa

My Hubby had some business to do in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada this weekend. I have ALWAYS wanted to visit there, so I took the opportunity and decided I would tag along for the ride.

I am having a really great time. What a beautiful city. So historical too. This weekend has just been alot of walking around and doing some quick sightseeing. I would like to most definitely come back next summer and participate in actual tours of the city.

Lots of pictures of The Changing of the Guard, The Rideau Canal, Parliament of Canada and of course my girl Laura Secord!

This trip has helped me to regroup and come up with some ideas for DeeBozzz / Dee Boswell Designs silk scarves and shawls.

What a day! I am surprised that I had time to paint an order I received over the weekend (Violet Blue Floral Silk Wrap). I reinstated my membership at SeekingDesigners.com.

My prices have been updated, and I worked on having all of my pics uniform.

I know.... I haven't blogged for awhile. On occassion I have experienced tough moments.

Doing what I love - Painting silk scarves, has helped me try to recapture what I am all about.
