Do you have a closet full of clothes and still feel like you have nothing to wear? With the right basics, stylist Lloyd Boston says you can pull any outfit together in a snap. "If you have these things, you can look as great as me living in your closet," he says. Bright, gauzy scarves are an inexpensive way to add a shot of color around your face. "I love a little scarf," Oprah says. "Very chic-o-la." When adding this extra flair, Lloyd says it's important to balance your other accessories. Sex and the City - CAN'T WAIT!!

Ok.... So I am a silk artisan who blogs, who designs fashion accessories. Fashion?... Accessories?.... Fashion? Well of course, I must blog about Sex and the City! It opens this Friday, May 30. Unfortunately, all of the Friday shows are sold out. But we got our tickets for Saturday instead. That's ok... we will be well rested. Our full attention will be on the movie.

We are going to the Cineplex on the Queensway. I hang with 7 fabulous ladies, and we are ALL going! Watch out GTA! How will you be able to tell us apart from the rest of the crowd? The best shoes, designer jeans, amazing handbags... ok, ok, I think I just described all of the Fabulous ladies in Toronto, who will be seeing this film. Of course... I will be wearing a scarf!
Will Carrie make it with "Mr. Big"? Will Miranda and Steve be able to work it out? How are Charlotte and Elizabeth Taylor getting along? And we can't forget about Samantha and Smith Jerrod!
I am so Excited!

Booty Camp Fitness - Tomorrow's My Last Day!

Well tomorrow is my last class with Booty Camp Fitness. I am really glad that I took the 4 week class.

Personally, I have noticed a change in my body. I used to work out alot, and it is nice to see that my athletic shape coming back again. I love lifting weights. When I go to the gym, though I have a tendency to focus more on weights than cardio. (I hate cardio by the way). With Booty Camp Fitness, yes... it is ALOT of cardio, however, they incorporate alot of strength training within their routines. Stepping up and down on the bench in the park?? Aughhhhhh.... but wow! My legs look great! Remember running back and forth and touching the lines on the floor during gym class? Well try doing that and then adding some push-ups to the routine? Yuck... But seriously, my arms are really toned now!

They take your measurements on day 1. Tomorrow is the last class, and I will have my measurements taken again. Stay tuned.... I will let you know how I made out.

By the way, my trainer is Patsy (top row, middle).

The Heintzman House

On November 8 and 9, 2008, you can see me in person at the Heintzman House as I sell my silk scarves and accessories. The Heintzman House Auxillary, will be putting on their annual Christmas Craft Show and Sale. The 2008 Heintzman House Craft Show and Sale will showcase the talents of local craft artisans and fine artists.

The historic 13-room mansion, built in 1817, will be adorned in its finest holiday décor and promises to meet all of your holiday shopping needs. Experience a wide variety of hand made items and fine arts - ceramics, mouth blown glass, jewelry, hand made wooden toys and teddy bears, children and ladies fashion wear, toys and floral silk designs.

Craft show patrons can enjoy lunch in the mansion's elegant main floor lounge believed to encompass the original abode brick home built prior to 1802 by the property's first owner, United Empire Loyalist, Anthony Hollingshead. Saved from demolition in the 1960's by the Town of Markham, the Heintzman House is a designated historic property protected under the Ontario Heritage Act.

All proceeds from the sale will go towards refurbishment of the house.

I am thrilled to be a part of this wonderful event. As the time draws near, I will be sure to add more information to my blog.
